Purified Cl inactivator has been shown to inhibit activated plasma thromboplastin
antecedent (PTA) and activated Hageman factor (HF). It has no action on activated Stuart
factor. Evidence is presented that this inhibitor represents only part of the inhibitory activity in
plasma against activated PTA.
