Recent advances in nanotechnology offer new hope for disease detection, prevention, and
treatment. Nanomedicine is a rapidly evolving field wherein targeted therapeutic
approaches using nanotechnology based on the pathophysiology of gastrointestinal
diseases are being developed. Nanoparticle vectors capable of delivering drugs specifically
