Congenital infection is a well-described cause of stillbirths, as well as perinatal morbidity.
TORCH infections classically comprise toxoplasmosis, Treponema pallidum, rubella,
cytomegalovirus (CMV), herpes simplex virus (HSV), hepatitis viruses, human
